The Retreat

Each year we take the new flatties on a retreat to build relationships between the flatmates and the team but also to introduce key people from Riccarton Community Church. The goal of the retreat is for everyone to discuss what they are up to in Christchurch, their faith background, to bond a bit over similarities and enjoy the differences. We play games, enjoy the outdoors and engage in stimulating discussion.

We in no way force the flatmates to participate but we have seen just how beneficial this retreat is to launch into a year of living with each other.
